Smoking Angels
I left my house full of stress and fear of not finding a job and headed down the river road on my bicycle to calm down. I went North for the first time, and as I passed the University, lo and behold, I saw in the window, my Master giving and evening lecture and meditation. I headed up the hill and found a bike rack but had no lock. I asked the angels to guard my bike and went in. Master Lin’s warm smile and heart greeted me and I joined in a long full moon meditation releasing painful tears and fears. With a light heart I left, hoping my bike was still there. I spoke out loud as I left the building, “Well angels, I hope you guarded my bike.” I looked out and there was my bike protected by 3 freshman women having a smoke. I love smoking angels that guard bikes.
